Where to next?

Destination: Bali

Bali has two distinct seasons: dry (May - Sept) and wet (Oct - April). May, June and July are typically considered to be the best time to travel to Bali in terms of the weather. However, depending on whether you're a surfer or explorer, preferences may change. During the dry season the western side of the peninsula creates some of the world's best waves.

Hanging Gardens Ubud Hotel
A hillside hideaway overlooking Bali's Ayung River Gorge. Nestled deep in the heart of Ubud's rich rainforest preserve, this enchanting 5-star boutique hotel, designed in complete harmony with nature, has 38 private suites and individual villas with thatched roofs, each enhanced by its own luxurious granite infinity plunge pool, rippling into the jungle below.

Most resorts in Bali highlight the island's natural bounty, but this one goes one step further. The villas, restaurants and bars, the two pools and the spa are carved into various levels of a hillside in the Ayung River Gorge.
